Traffic in Chesterfield town centre on a Saturday can be very busy. Even though it's only a few miles, please allow ample time to get from the M1 to the ground.
From Matlock, follow the A632 into Chesterfield at Walton and turn left onto Walton Road about 100 yards after the Blue Stoops pub on your left. Follow Walton Road down the hill , across the first mini roundabout and again at the main roundabout. Turn left at the traffic lights. Follow to the next mini-roundabout, go straight ahead then turn right onto Slack Lane. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout and again at a further roundabout. Turn left at the traffic lights (T junction). The entrance to the pitch is after the turning for St Mary's School, approximately 300 yards on your left on the corner of Helmsley Close.
From Baslow follow the A619 into Chesterfield. Look for Brookfield School to your left just as you enter the 30 mph zone and take the turn to your left (Storrs Road) after a further hundred yards or so. Follow Storrs Road to its end and turn left at the mini-roundabout then turn right onto Slack Lane. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout and again at a further roundabout. Turn left at the traffic lights (T junction). The entrance to the pitch is after the turning for St Mary's School, approximately 300 yards on your left on the corner of Helmsley Close.
From the M1, exit at Junction 30 and follow the A619 through Staveley and Brimington to the roundabout junction with the A61 Inner Relief Road (adjacent to Tesco superstore). Go straight ahead at the roundabout and after a short distance, straight ahead at the next roundabout. Drive approximately 400 yards up the hill (Peveril Road) and turn left onto Highfield Lane. Follow this road to its "T" junction with Newbold Road and turn right. Go straight ahead at the mini roundabout. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights. The entrance to the pitch is after the turning for St Mary's School, approximately 300 yards on your left on the corner of Helmsley Close.
Follow the A61 into Chesterfield to its junction with the A617 from the M1. Take the second exit at the roundabout towards Sheffield (dual carriageway). Proceed on the A61 Inner Relief road to the next roundabout (adjacent to Tesco superstore) turn left and after a short distance, at a further roundabout, straight ahead. Drive approximately 400 yards up the hill (Peveril Road) and turn left onto Highfield Lane. Follow this road to its "T" junction with Newbold Road and turn right. Go straight ahead at the mini roundabout. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights. We meet at the "Brampton Manor", a Club no more than a mile from the ground. From the St. Mary's school car park, take the exit road out to the "main" road and turn right towards Chesterfield. On the approach to the traffic lights, take the right hand lane and turn right. Follow this road, straight across at the next two roundabouts and then left at the "T" junction. Carry straight on (across the mini-roundabout) and look for the signs to Brampton Manor on your left after about 1/4 mile.
