League Saturdays 2008/9 provisionally (to be confirmed after 13th Feb) as weeks 5-15, October 4th to December 13th 2008 and weeks 20-30, January 17th to March 29th 2009, but for 1st X1 Midland Premier Division the weeks for the first half of the season will be weeks 3-13, September 20th to November 29th. This is due to the indoor priority in December that takes away so many of our MRHUA umpires.
31st January Deadline for transfers. Some may appear on the website after this date but these are delayed because the B Form has not arrived, usually the player has to pay off subs, match fees etc, or has to miss two matches since his last game for his former club. Any A Forms that arrive after 31st January will be returned and the transfer will not take place.
10th February Deadline for return of questionnaire by EM2 and WM2 clubs.
14th February Publication of league dates for 2008/9.
1st April Deadline for applications for teams to join the leagues.
25th April I send out handbook pro-formas and invoices for affiliation fees, handbook monies.
1st June (arrival in Monday 2nd June’s post). Deadline for receipt of Handbook pro-formas and invoice cheque (failure brings a £30 fine).
20th June Final deadline for receipt of handbook pro-formas and invoice cheque and/or fines (failure increases fine to £60}.
1st July. Fixtures 2008/9 on MRHA website.
1st September league takes delivery of handbooks.
2nd to 10th September Distribution of handbooks via County H.As.
