Junior Hockey is our coaching scheme for youngsters - of both sexes - age range 5 to 15.
The Junior Hockey Group meets most Wednesday evenings during the Winter Season :
Our AUTUMN TERM starts on Wednesday the 9th September 2009 and ends on
Wednesday the 2nd December (No session on half term Wednesday the 28th
October).
Cost £10 for this term or £2 per session.
Our WINTER TERM starts on Wednesday 13th January 2010 and ends on Wednesday
the 24th of March (No session on half term Wednesday the 17th February).
Cost £10 for this term or £2 per session.
There is additional Sunday training - 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. (£1 only per session attended - at the gate). Dates to be published in due course on this website.
Friendly matches take place on a regular basis(once a month) between
September and March and are played at home(St. Mary’s) or grounds in
Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire.. Matches start around 10.30 am and last an hour.
A match fee of £1 only is charged for this and players are encouraged to
purchase their own team shirts.
While there is a competitive element to these games winning is not the "be and end all". We aim to give anyone interested a chance to play – please let your coaches know of your interest.
In addition we are running "occasional" teams at U-11, U-13, U-15 and U-18 levels to participate in both frinedly matches and tournaments.
